Is This Side Hustle Right for Mompreneurs?
A “mompreneur” is a mom who is trying to bring in additional funds to help the household make ends meet, or dare we even think it, to help the household thrive. (Think of that industrious lovely lady in Proverbs 31!)
A homeschooling mompreneur is often mom in a single income family and can be pressed for time to “get it all done”. At least, that’s what I felt like.
Who this is not for
This idea is specifically for the action-taking mom who wants to grow her family’s savings but feels completely strapped for time and maybe at a loss for what to do. It’s a 1 in 100 person, and I feel obligated to tell you what I’ve been up to.
Costs
To be fully transparent, you do need a $10K brokerage account to make this work. I used our old IRA accounts which we had started when both my husband and I were working (before I had kids).
Side Hustle for Mompreneurs
I started doing options trading through a program called “Low Stress Options”, a program developed by Troy Broussard.
Yes, stock market options. And I’ve been earning consistently. It’s working. The program targets 1% a week, and I’m a bit under that, but it’s still 0.85% more than I was earning before, compounded weekly.
Anyway, I’m not going to gush about it, but I’m going to offer a testimonial from Lindsay, who is a mom and now part owner in the business. I’ve even heard the folks in this program say that moms are sometimes the best candidates for the program – especially those who DON’T have as much knowledge of the stock market at first. Lindsay said she didn’t even know what an option was! Now she helps teach new people how it works, and I am still learning from her.
How Busy Moms Make Time for Options Trading
By Low-stress Lindsay
One of the biggest objections I hear time and time again about Options Trading from the ladies is….
“I am worried I do not have time to learn this.”
It could be due to work schedules, kids, homeschooling, taking care of elderly parents…any number of things.
But I feel that is EXACTLY why women must learn this.
A few hours up front…and then 1-2 hours per week trading to set yourself up for a future of freedom…
I came across a few stats lately that made my heart hurt….
- In 2021, the average retirement account balance of an IRA was a mere $135,000
- Half of retirees are forced to live on $2,000 a month
- Women are far behind men in terms of retirement contributions, savings, and retirement confidence
- Women make up only 11% of traders, 89% are male
- Women reported contributing an average of $5,421 to their retirement savings, while men contributed an average of about $9,578 — a gap of 43%
- Women 60 and over make up 56% of those who lost their jobs due to chronic illness
That is why I feel like I owe it to the ladies to shout from the rooftops about Low Stress Options.
To help as many women as I can to see and believe that trading is NOT just a men’s sport.
I want to help you ladies create a financially secure future for yourself and your family. And I want to help you get your time back so you can really enjoy it with them. Beyond just making sure that you’re taking your trades and getting your “reps in” as Troy likes to say, I also want you to know that we need more ladies just like you in the group.
So don’t dismiss this “income source” you could be creating for yourself.
One of the biggest reasons I invested in the company and became an owner was to further the reach to the female demographic which is so woefully under-represented in the trading industry.
LSO has more women than practically any other similar trading community I’ve ever seen and I personally know many of them are busy moms, employees, business owners, etc.
You don’t have to have a ton of extra time to be successful with Low Stress Options, you can be a busy mom and still follow the framework, do the work now, put in your reps, and watch the magic happen.
That was from Lindsay: Now back to me
My Honest Review of Low Stress Options (As a Skeptic)
By nature, I’m a skeptic. But I am in an accountability group for entrepreneurs, and I saw at first a few, then dozens, then even more people that this program worked for. I showed it to my (now grown) son, thinking it might be right for him. After watching his success, he encouraged me to try it.
But I want you to be skeptical, too.
Get more info
First, read more about the program on the official Low Stress Options details page or register for their next info call.
And, I know, it is a ridiculously LONG sales page. Read it all. Hint: It’s kind of a barrier to entry. Remember how I said this wasn’t right for everyone? Well, if you can’t make through the sales page, then you don’t have the patience for this program.
After you read it, register for a live info call. Troy and John Sanpietro do these calls regularly to answer any question of how it works. They want to make sure it is right for you.

If you do sign up, be sure to let me know so I can say hello in the community.
Final Words
I feel like this program has opened up a world of possibilities for me. I’m using it to manage our family’s retirement future because it was not going to be able to support us as it stood. Now, I have new prospects.
Is Low Stress Options Worth the Cost? My Honest Experience
When I started, I thought the program was pricey. Mostly because when I was little, we struggled to make ends meet. It leaves an impression. I am still cautiously frugal. And I hate to waste money. I mean seriously, I still think a really good pair of jeans should cost under $15. Not that I buy jeans anywhere other than a thrift store.
My ideas about money are slowly changing because of this program. It’s liberating, really. I went super slowly, but earned more than the cost of the program in 7 weeks. And I’m at 10x now after 6 months. It’s crazy and I’m trying to help plan our retirement and how we can help our kids maybe afford things (like a house) which used to be in reach for my generation in the USA.
